We may think we are divided
We may think there is an us and a them
But we all exist within one organism in space
Floating in gravity.
Thinking we are separate when we share the same air, the same nourishment, the same resources.
When we die, we feed plants.
When they die they feed us.
Organisms attack each other.
Organisms attack themselves.
Organisms get sick.
Experience mass death.
Some even commit mass suicide (find example).
Sometimes organisms adapt.
Sometimes they go extinct.
So do we.
It’s wild that we can think we know better than reality.
That we can have an opinion that any text, any one religion or science, can know more about our organism than we do, that they can lead us to some ultimate truth outside of our organism, even though created science, religion, and text.
I guess we need to be aiming somewhere...or do we?
If we didn’t have pre-set morals, aren’t we built to know what causes pain and chaos, what causes death and mayhem, what causes bliss and peace and ease and magic?
“Our body will never betray us” my gorgeous cousin @alexcox reminded me this Sunday.
We were built with genius technology.
Maybe just maybe, our bodies know a lot more than we give them credit for.
Maybe without systems of power, we would organically evolve and devolve and then evolve again, just by existing near each other.
Maybe not.
But maybe so.
